The automatic rod handling device uses a Malta-style automatic rod handling method, which, compared to other rod handling designs, reduces one pin insertion auxiliary action, resulting in faster rod handling and easier operation. The drill rod magazine can hold 5+1 drill rods, with a maximum depth of 24 meters when using 4-meter drill rods. During the automatic rod handling process, a grease-lubricated thread system has been added to ensure the service life of the drill rods and reduce manual auxiliary operations.

The rotary reducer gearbox is a straight-tooth type, which is highly durable and allows for a 0-100 stepless rotary speed. The rotary reducer gearbox uses an Eaton hydraulic motor, with a floating buffer joint added to reduce thread wear caused by frequent drill rod disassembly, extending the service life of the drill rods by more than 2 times. It also reduces the impact reaction force of drilling and ensures the gearbox's service life.

The abundant power system uses a Yuchai turbocharged water-cooled engine, allowing for low-speed operation and reduced fuel consumption. During drilling operations, it can meet a speed no higher than 1800r/min and comply with current emission standards.
